Do you think in numbers? If so, our Bookkeeper Professional program may help give you a competitive advantage. The unique combination course offers you the fundamental skills of effective bookkeeping while training you to become savvy with QuickBooks accounting software on a remote computer. The class features a virtual desktop environment, allowing hands-on QuickBooks practice inside and outside of the classroom.

    No. 1-Rated Software
QuickBooks is widely regarded as the No. 1-rated small business accounting software. The professional training course allows you the opportunity to enhance your accounting and finance skills. It’s powerful, user-friendly software that keeps track of all the money flowing in and out of a business. QuickBooks also organizes finances and bookkeeping all in one place. It syncs with more than 2,000 financial institutions and more than 4 million small business owners rely on it. Students who learn the ability to comprehend it find it advantageous to their career.

    What You’ll Learn
This program teaches you how to successfully work with general ledgers, assets, liabilities, equity accounts, balance sheets and income statements. You will also learn to compute and record basic book and tax depreciation, manage bills and invoices, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and provide financial statements for tax preparation.

    Who it Benefits
This course is ideal for individuals starting a business or for those operating small businesses that seek experience with QuickBooks. It is also beneficial for those desiring the Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB).

    Occupational Trends

    • The Department of Labor projects an 11% growth rate through 2022 as bookkeeping skills are in high demand by employers due to the increased complexity and requirements of compliance and regulation.
    • AIPB.org reports 41% of CBs received a raise after becoming certified.

    Trailblazing
Students of this program benefit from the QuickBooks accounting software package. This virtual desktop environment allows for seamless QuickBooks access from classroom, home or office.

This class became the first in the history of the College to utilize virtual PCs. This grants you access for additional practice in QuickBooks throughout the duration of the course. As an additional incentive, you will be awarded access for 30 days after the class ends to gain more QuickBooks practice as needed.
