KSU Alum Wins iPad Mini
Michael Le was the lucky winner of our iPad mini drawing during our free Career Training Expo July 30. He said he was so surprised to receive the phone call notifying him of his prize that he didn’t think it could be real.
“I never win anything,” he said, holding his new iPad mini and case. “I’m a believer. I’m ecstatic.”
Michael hails from Austell by way of Marietta. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in criminal justice, but that didn’t end his pursuit of education. He came to Expo because of his interest in gaining new skills where he could advance his career. Michael is currently taking the final courses required to attend dental school, but he’s also exploring additional education options.
He said he’s interested in Real Estate Property Management and other Healthcare courses, such as Medical Billing and Coding and EKG Technician. He even sat in on the Administrative Professional information session.
“I got a lot out of it,” Michael said of the free event. “I was very informed about how many careers and opportunities there were. I’ve got to set up a plan A, B and C.”
And of course, he’s especially excited about the iPad mini, which, he said, he plans to use for school.
