Saturday Special
To answer a growing need, we are excited to announce the addition of Human Resources Management SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP program to Saturdays. This will provide you the flexibility to choose from two options – class on Thursday evenings or a full day on Saturdays.
New Credentials. New Global Standard.
Earlier this year, SHRM (The Society for Human Resource Management) unveiled a new pair of credentials — SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP℠) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP℠) — presenting individuals an opportunity for career growth.
“For HR professionals looking to further their careers, this would be an excellent step to take to show you have a commitment to the profession,” said Lisa Hughes, instructor. “This class will help students keep their knowledge and skills up to date and use what they have acquired in the past to apply that to move our businesses forward in a new way.”
Embrace Change. Maintain Your Edge.
Business is changing and employers are insisting HR professionals adapt to that change. We now live and work in a global economy, where geographic borders are virtually non-existent, and innovation, agility and strategy are critical success factors. The HR profession operates at the core of this global economy, ensuring the alignment of organizational strategy with a high-performing workforce.
In response to today’s business needs, SHRM has ambitiously developed two new certifications set to become the new global standard. These credentials were designed to help you gain a competitive advantage and boost your professional worth. This class will present you the opportunity to stay ahead of the curve by earning your certificate and being crowned with more relevant credentials.
“What makes these new credentials unique is for the first time they focus on teaching and testing the practical real-life information today’s professionals need,” said Jennifer Henderson, program manager. “These certifications aren’t about what you know but how you do it.”
