New Courses Approved for VA Education Benefits
We have added the following programs to our programs approved for VA Education Benefits: Certified Financial Planner™ Program, LSAT Exam Preparation and MCAT Exam Preparation. Active duty and honorably discharged members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and National Guard may qualify for military education benefits. These benefits may provide reimbursement for certificate programs, based upon GI Bill coverage and length of service.
“Continuing education programs offer something for everyone. These programs are stepping stones to building a successful career,” Dean Barbara Calhoun said.
The Certified Financial Planner™ Program provides existing and future financial professionals with the skills and training needed to deliver comprehensive and accurate personal financial planning services to their clients. Through this curriculum, students will learn to analyze and advise in all core areas of personal financial planning.
Instruction for LSAT Exam Preparation will include evaluating strengths/weaknesses and the best method and the best method of studying to maximize performance on test day. Students will also have the ability to review scores and chart improvement throughout the course with the use of diagnostic tests.
The MCAT Exam Preparation course will help students develop learning and test-taking strategies as well as assess and strengthen the main concept areas covered on the MCAT exam. Topics covered include biological and biochemical foundations, chemical and physical foundations, psychological, social and biological foundations, and critical analysis and reasoning skills related to social sciences and humanities.
