CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is an information technology (IT) certification from Cisco Systems. The CCNA program is designed to help prospective students prove their skills in the ever-changing landscape of IT. The program has one certification that validates a broad range of fundamentals for all IT careers. 

What is CCNA certification? 

CCNA certification is an associate-level Cisco Career certification. The CCNA certification exam covers a breadth of topics, including network fundamentals, network access, IP connectivity, IP services, security fundamentals, automation, and programmability. Retooled for the latest technologies and job roles, the CCNA training course and exam give prospective students the foundation they need to take their careers in any direction. 

How to get CCNA certification? 

There are two ways to become CCNA-certified: 

1. Pass one CCNA Composite exam (currently 200-125) 

1. Pass two individual ICND exams (currently ICND1 100-105 and ICND2 200-105). In effect, 200-125 = 100-105 + 200-105.
