This course will teach you how to study the ever-changing night sky to better understand our planet and our place in the universe. We will be introduced to (and will use) some of the tools and techniques used to explore our solar system, the galaxy, and the observable universe. We will set up telescopes on the last night class for stargazing in a dark sky.
David Bond has 28 years of corporate experience as a market analyst in the medical field, as well as teaching mathematics over the last 12 years at both the high school and college level. Mr. Bond has a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Mathematics from The Ohio State University, an MBA in Operations Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, and will be completing his Masters of Arts in Mathematics Education in July of 2020. He also holds a U.S. Patent (#5,411,147), and is a Certified Quality Process Analyst granted from the American Society of Quality.
