This six-week course is based on a 2015 book project that involved much “field work” in the Cobb and Cherokee county areas. With the commercial and suburban development in the area, many of the old 1864 sites have disappeared. This course will provide geographical and historical information on places on Civil War events that occurred “in their backyard.”
