The U.S. is founded on several important documents. This class is a survey of our national documents to better understand them. The Constitution is covered in detail as it is the most critical as it represents our current national will. Understanding the founder’s goals and motivation as well as its original development some 250 years ago is great American history. The evolution of the Constitutional application is also critical for every citizen as each branch of the government jockeys for power. While references may be made to the actions of past administrations, this offering is NOT POLITICAL and all references are just historical….neither conservative nor liberal. It will be presented in a light-hearted but educational manner and is a must for everyone. This class has been attended by hundreds of students with exceptional reviews.
