Gouache is a centuries-old painting method with characteristics of both water-color and acrylic paint. This painting method can be used to create a wide variety of styles, forms, and details. In this course, students will be introduced to gouache painting methods and techniques. Students will also study some of the history behind this ancient form of art.
Since 2015, Abigail (Abby) Hermes has served as a drawing fundamentals instructor for KSU’s OLLI program. Hermes has been a professional artist for 13 years and counting. Hermes graduated from Reinhardt College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine/Studio Arts.
