So often, we forget that ordinary people are anything but. We’ve all had some extraordinary experiences! In this 6-week workshop, we’ll learn the joy of sharing the stories of those experiences that shaped us into the people we’ve become. Bring a pen, paper, and enthusiasm!
Bethyl Hermes
After earning her B.A. in Journalism from Auburn University, Beth Hermes has built her writing career as a newspaper staff writer, magazine contributing writer and public relations director for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. Since 2008, she has added Freelance Writer, Creative Writing Coach, and Novelist to her resume. She teaches Creative Writing, Memoir, Blogging, and Journaling classes at Kennesaw State University’s OLLI program, and is an active volunteer in her community. Beth and her husband live in Hickory Flat with two rescue dogs, a turtle, and a horse. Their daughter is an artist; their son attends KSU-Marietta campus.
