This 8-week course takes you on a journey of the senses to help enrich your experience in writing your memoir, and the enjoyment of anyone who reads your memoir! The course includes an Introduction to Memoir, followed by a deep dive into each of the senses in the following seven weeks.

Bethyl Hermes
After earning her B.A. in Journalism from Auburn University, Beth Hermes has built her writing career as a newspaper staff writer, magazine contributing writer and public relations director for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. Since 2008, she has added Freelance Writer, Creative Writing Coach, and Novelist to her resume. She teaches Creative Writing, Memoir, Blogging, and Journaling classes at Kennesaw State University’s OLLI program, and is an active volunteer in her community. Beth and her husband live in Hickory Flat with two rescue dogs, a turtle, and a horse. Their daughter is an artist; their son attends KSU-Marietta campus.
