This course is designed to introduce students to the Spanish language and become familiar with its similarities with and differences from English. The course will provide students with a beginning vocabulary base and will transition into the introduction of Spanish words, their meanings, and masculine nouns vs. feminine nouns.
Special notice: This class will be delivered online. You will need access to a computer with an internet connection that remains stable for the duration of the class. Though a chat feature is available, a microphone is preferred. For most productive audio/video participation, a webcam and/or headset are encouraged. Virtual classes may be recorded.

Nancy DeLisle-Brown
With the College since 2007, Nancy has her Masters in Spanish and a TESOL Certificate. Nancy has been instrumental in shaping the courses in ESL for us. She was justly-awarded Outstanding Educator of the Year by the GAEA in 2015. Nancy teaches Spanish in our OLLI program to seniors.
