The focus of this class is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to draw and paint a variety of subject matter from still life to portraits. Students will learn oil painting concepts and techniques that are relevant to every painting: composition, value, color, edges, light key, brush strokes, paint quality, shapes, massing, light/shadows, etc.
Demonstrations and critiques will be presented, however each student will be mentored and taught at their current level of experience.
