This course provides 60-hours of instruction real estate, required of all applicants for a broker’s license in Georgia. The course prepares learners for the Georgia broker licensing exam and provides practice with both the multiple choice and simulation question types found on the broker licensing exam. Topics include: real estate agency, contracts, freehold and leasehold, property management, finance, government regulations and private restrictions, description and measurement of land, valuation, conveyance, calculations, ethical behavior, and Georgia laws and rules. Includes built-in reviews. This course meets the 60 hour Broker Prelicense requirement for Georgia.
This course fulfills the GREC-approved 60-hour Real Estate Broker Prelicense Course educational requirement.
Prerequisite: Must be 21 years of age and have either a high school diploma or its equivalent before enrolling in the course.
Note: Broker applicants must have been licensed on active status for a minimum of three years before obtaining a broker license.
Requirements: Internet access and e-mail.Note: We highly recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience. It is always a good idea to update to the most recent version of your browser for an optimal experience.
The final exam must be proctored and is included in the course fee. Students who pass the final exam will be qualified to take the Georgia Real Estate Sales Prelicense Exam. Email online@kennesaw.edu once you have completed the exam, to make sure we have all your correct information for the report to GREC.
Note: You will be contacted by the Online department within 3 Business days of registering in order to provide you with login instructions.
All course lessons and applicable exams must be completed within 180 days. Access to the computer lessons will expire at midnight on the 180th day after enrollment.
If you need more time, you may purchase an extension at the classroom site. The extension starts on your expiration date. You will not be allowed to extend any course past 360 days from your original start date.
