Community ESL (English as a Second Language) classes are designed to improve the communication skills of anyone who would like to speak, listen, read, and write better in English. These classes are for beginning and intermediate students, and meet for 3 hours per week to work on practical English language skills. Students will register for the session, then have an in-person placement test the week before classes start. These courses are appropriate for working adults, tourists, au pairs, permanent residents, or community members who wish to improve their general English. For academic preparation, or for F-1 visa students, please see our Intensive English Program courses.
