(8 contact hours) In this certificate course, you’ll explore the many meditation techniques that can be used to support the mind-body connection and promote healing, health, and wellness.

Learning Objectives:

• Learn about the health effects of meditation, including the psychological and physiological effects.
• Explore the different types of meditation, techniques, and practices and examine the role of mediation in health and wellness.
• Review the meditation practices in various religious traditions.
• Understand the health benefits of minfulness meditation, discuss mindfulness-based stress reduction, and examine the techniques and practices for mindfulness mediation.

Click the “Add to Cart” button for the ‘Self-Paced’ class. This site does not accept payments – you will not be charged here. Create a Username and Password. You must make an 80 or higher on the final exam (online) to successfully complete the course. You may only take the exam once.
