The second course in the two-part litigation series. You will learn how to assist counsel to prepare for litigation, including producing and organizing documents, interrogatories and pleadings, file summaries, and chronologies. Prerequisite: Civil Litigation I

Though a chat feature is available, a microphone is preferred. For most productive audio/video participation, a webcam and/or headset are encouraged. Virtual classes may be recorded.
Tamika Crawford-Franklin
Mrs. Crawford-Franklin’s educational background is with Charlotte School of Law, where she has earned a Juris Doctorate. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology, Specializing in Addictions at Northcentral University. Before becoming a part of KSU, Mrs. Crawford-Franklin taught legal courses in the Legal Studies program at Herzing University for 6 years. Prior to entering the field of academia, Mrs. Crawford-Franklin worked 16 years as a paralegal within various areas of law. She is an advocate for Criminal Justice and Parole Reform and is currently working with multiple organizations on prison reform within the Georgia Department of Corrections. Mrs. Crawford-Franklin has also introduced a Parole Reform Bill to Georgia Legislators in order to help effectuate positive changes to help better serve Georgia citizens and communities. Mrs. Crawford-Franklin also serves on the Herzing University Advisory Board. In addition to working academia, Mrs. Crawford-Franklin also owns and operates a family-owned bakery and a beauty supply boutique. She is married with 3 children ages 24, 23, and 6 years old.
