Principles of real estate law are covered, including terminology, documents, types of estate ownership, mortgages, real estate closings, title searches and courthouse records. You will understand the basic concepts and terms of real estate law; examine a title and prepare a title report; become familiar with the documents required in residential and commercial real estate closings.
Thad Gould
Since 2017, Thad Gould has served as professional education instructor for KSU’s Paralegal certificate program. Gould is an attorney with the law firm of Greenfield, Bost and Kliros, P.C. Gould has practiced law in the metropolitan Atlanta area since 1989, with a current emphasis in commercial real estate transactions. His commercial transaction practice includes representing owners and developers of apartments, office space and shopping centers. Gould also represents a national home builder in connection with the builder’s acquisition of developed lots and raw land. Gould is a graduate of the University of Dayton Law School. He also received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton.
