Tactics that work with motivated, excited sellers don’t always translate well when working with short sale sellers and short sale buyers. Toss lender approvals, junior lien holders, and inflexible timelines into the mix, and you end up with a whole new ball game. In a short sale transaction, the motivation for each party is different than the standard transaction, and, as the professional in the scene, you need to adjust accordingly.
This course enables licensees, when interacting with short sale sellers know how to help them through a tough process while diligently advocating on their behalf. It also helps licensees understand the pitfalls that await buyers of short sale properties to provide better protection during a short sale transaction.
3 Contact Hours
Prerequisite: Must be 18 years of age and have either a high school diploma or its equivalent before enrolling in the course.

Note: You will be contacted by the Online department within 3-5 business days of registering in order to provide you with login instructions.
All course lessons and applicable exams must be completed within 180 days. Access to the computer lessons will expire at midnight on the 180th day after enrollment.
If you need more time, you may purchase an extension at the classroom site. The extension starts on your expiration date. You will not be allowed to extend any course past 360 days from your original start date.
