The College of Professional Education Now Accredited by IACET
Accreditation demonstrates commitment to high-quality continuing education and training.
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded KSU’s College of Professional Education (CPE) the industry-recognized Accredited Provider status. CPE complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. IACET Accredited Providers are the only organizations accredited to issue the IACET Continuing Education Unit (CEU). This accreditation includes our current and future classroom-based certificate programs.
Why did CPE seek accreditation?
From the beginning, our commitment has always been to provide quality education in a progressive learning environment. This milestone not only aligns with our mission, but also solidifies our vision as a global leader in professional education. We are dedicated to our students and our community, and vow to continue working towards high-quality innovative programming that contributes to Georgia’s workforce development.
How did CPE receive accreditation?
In order to achieve Accredited Provider status, CPE completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET Standard. CPE has pledged its continued compliance with the Standard.
What does this accreditation mean to me?
For our students, this means that CPE is committed to providing the highest quality of training and resources. Compliance with the ANSI/IACET Standard certifies that there are policies and procedures in place to ensure our students receive high-quality education. From the hiring of our industry-expert instructors and the material covered in class to our registration and marketing processes, our commitment is to you, our students.
