KSU Center Facilities

KSU Center at Kennesaw State University is uniquely designed to accommodate educationally-oriented events in a state-of-the-art meeting and training environment.

The KSU Center has quickly become one of the area’s premier facilities for conference and meeting space. We are uniquely positioned to help you organize an event and to deliver the very best in training. The innovative atmosphere and availability of staff and equipment makes this center a unique business partner. Built with businesses’ educational needs in mind, the KSU Center can accommodate groups as large as 375.

We also have a group that offers Conference Services.

General Information

The KSU Center is located just off exit 271 on Interstate 75, and two miles west of Interstate 575 at exit 3 in Kennesaw, Georgia, only one mile from the main campus of Kennesaw State University.

KSU Center offers conference rooms, function rooms, classrooms, and computer labs to satisfy your meeting needs.

Meeting & Training

Rooms are furnished with comfortable tables and chairs, easels, white boards, ceiling-mounted projectors with wide-ratio projection screens and wall-mounted controls, high speed internet connections, and built-in projection systems.

The conference rooms offer built-in sound systems and wireless connectivity is available throughout the building. KSU Center at Kennesaw State University is designed to meet the needs of your company or organization.

Conference Services

The College of Professional Education (CPE) at Kennesaw State University offers a wide range of conference management services. We will help you maximize the success of your event by handling the details of registration, payments, marketing, website design, etc. so that you can focus on your area of expertise — the content. Your attendees will be provided with exceptional customer service from our trained staff.

We can help you choose a site, review contracts, coordinate event logistics, provide marketing support and process your registrations. Services are available a-la-carte, or as part of a comprehensive package. For event or conference planning please contact conferences@kennesaw.edu or 470-578-6559.

Computer Labs

KSU Center offers nine computer labs with a total of 195 student computer stations. Each lab is equipped with an instructor station as well. The minimum level PC is an Intel Core i5 660 CPU @ 3.33GHz, 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 64-bit OS. The maximum level is an Intel Core i7-6700T CPU @ 2.80GHz, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 64-bit OS.

Our minimum-sized lab has 14 student stations and the maximum-sized has 35.

Each lab is also equipped with a ceiling-mounted projector with wall-mounted controls.

Classrooms

We have numerous classroom spaces that in total can be arranged in various configurations for your meeting and training needs. The size of these classrooms vary, with some conducive to seating groups of 10 or less, while others comfortably seat up to 50.

Each classroom is equipped with ceiling-mounted projectors, projection screens, wall-mounted controls and an instructor PC that is wired to the projection system. Access to the university wireless system is openly and freely available. Whiteboards and flipcharts are also available.

Function & Conference Rooms

We have a large classroom/conference room meeting space that is typically set for 100 but provides a maximum capacity of 132. This room is equipped with a ceiling-mounted projector, projection screen, wall-mounted controls, and an instructor PC wired to the projection system. Access to the university wireless system is openly and freely available. Wireless microphones, a document camera, and portable whiteboards are also provided.

The function room is a large multi-purpose meeting space designed to accommodate up to 240 banquet style or 375 theater style and can be set with a riser stage and podium. In addition, an adjacent catering buffet area and restrooms makes for a convenient setting.

The room is equipped with two ceiling-mounted projectors, two large screens, wall-mounted controls and cabling for connecting a laptop to the projection system. Wireless microphones and free and open access to the campus wireless network is also provided.

Museum of History and Holocaust Education (MHHE): Located within the KSU Center, this consists of exhibits and educational resources focused on World War II and the Holocaust.

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park: 17.3 miles of interpretive walking trails over a 700 foot incline to the mountain’s summit.

Smith-Gilbert Gardens: An exceptional blend of art, history and horticultural

The Southern Museum, in Association with the Smithsonian Institution: The Museum is home to the General locomotive, made famous during the Great Locomotive Chase of 1862, an impressive Civil War collection, and more.

Take I-75 N toward MARIETTA / CHATTANOOGA.
Take the CHASTAIN RD exit, exit number 271.
Turn RIGHT onto CHASTAIN RD NW.
Turn RIGHT onto BUSBEE DR NW.
Turn RIGHT into the parking lot immediately past the KSU Center sign.

If you are coming from North of Kennesaw (Cartersville, Rome, Jasper, etc.)

Take I-75 South.
Take the CHASTAIN RD exit, exit number 271, toward I-575 N.
Turn LEFT onto CHASTAIN RD NW.
Move to your right hand lane on CHASTAIN RD.
Turn RIGHT onto BUSBEE DR NW.
Turn RIGHT into the parking lot immediately past the KSU Center sign.
