Al and Chet OLLI Scholarship

General Scholarship Criteria

• Applicants must be 50 years of age or older.
• Scholarship monies can be applied to the course fees only. Students are responsible for purchasing required supplies, and books.
• If a partial scholarship is awarded, students are responsible for the balance of the course fee.
• If a scholarship recipient drops out of the class for any reason, no refund will be given and students will not be reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses such as supplies, or books.
• Applicants must provide all of the information requested in the online application and submit electronically as directed prior to the deadline. Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
• Students are limited to two (2) scholarships per fiscal year for two OLLI classes.
• Scholarship recipients must register for a class within 3 months of notification of scholarship award.
• Scholarships cannot be applied to a class/course that has already started or a class/course that has already been paid for.
• Benefited employees of KSU are not eligible.
• If we do not have sufficient enrollment for a class, it may be cancelled.
• Scholarships may not be assigned or transferred to other individuals or courses.
• Scholarships cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Scholarship recipients must submit application at least 30 days prior to start date of class.
• Scholarship approvals will be based on available funds.
• Applicants may choose two(2) classes upon submission of application. if only one (1) class is chosen, applicant must reapply for a second class during the fiscal year.

Al and Chet OLLI Scholarship Specific Criteria

Applicant must be 50 years old or older

Scholarship monies can be used for course fees only. They may not be used for books or supplies. They may not be applied to OLLI Club Room fees, Social Events, Conference registrations, sampler course or group trips. No other discounts can be applied.
