Lois Brooks Nesbitt Memorial Scholarship Please read and complete the form below to apply for the Lois Brooks Nesbitt Memorial Scholarship. Step 1 of 3 - General Scholarship Criteria 33% General Scholarship Criteria Students who have received full funding from another source such as Military, WIA, employer paid, are not eligible. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Scholarship monies can be applied to the course fees only. Students are responsible for purchasing required supplies, books and exam fees. If a partial scholarship is awarded, students are responsible for the balance of the course fee. If a scholarship recipient drops out of the class for any reason, no refund will be given. Students will not be reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses such as supplies, books and exam fees. Applicants must provide all of the information requested in the online application and submit electronically as directed prior to the deadline. Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Students who have received a scholarship from Community and Professional Education within the last three (3) years are not eligible. Scholarship recipients must register for the next available course offering. Scholarships cannot be applied to a class/course that has already started. Benefited employees of KSU are not eligible. Some classes will require pre-screening/pre-assessments and/or prerequisites. If we do not have sufficient enrollment for a class, it may be cancelled. Scholarships may not be assigned or transferred. Scholarships cannot be redeemed for cash. Applicant must have met the 80% attendance requirement in each course completed in the Paralegal Certificate Program.
