Kristen Brooks Session 1 / 9:45 – 10:30 AM Kindergarten to College Everyone Can Create Celebrate engaging your students into their learning by integrating creativity into your curriculum and classroom. Set the stage to engage learners of all ages by teaching them to create videos and presentations to show what they know. You will learn to create presentations with text, graphics and special effects while learning how to incorporate its use into your curriculum. We will experience using drawings, photos and videos to create so you will leave full of confidence to teach your students no matter their age.  The iPad is an incredibly effective classroom tool for annotating learning, storytelling, connecting to content, reflecting and communicating in a creative way.  You will be amazed at the many ways you can use these simple learning tools in your classroom so your students can Create Captivating Content.
Tamika Durrah Session 2 / 10:45 – 11:30 AM Mobilize and APPcessorize with Nearpod Go mobile with Nearpod! Learn how to give your students engaging learning experiences while you collect data that will better equip you to facilitate their learning. Nearpod is not only rich with embedded learning tasks where you can engage your students, it also allows you to app smash or integrate other apps that you may already use; therefore making it a one stop shop of integrated technology that will authenticate learning experiences for your students. It can be used on any device with wifi. So you can mobilize with an iPhone, iPad, Chromebook, tablet, etc.

Andrea Tseng-Rioux Session 3 / 1:00 – 1:45 PM Swift and Java and Python, Oh My! Learning How To Code: Learn How to Code Mobile devices change the way that we teach, learn, and create. Creating includes coding or programing! In this session we’ll explore some of the apps that are out there making programing possible on mobile devices. We will even play with a robot or two.
Helen Maddox Session 4 / 2:00 – 2:45 PM Cultivate Creativity and Innovation through Digital Storytelling Empower student voice, cultivate creativity, and inspire innovation through digital storytelling.  From crafting items in the classroom to mobile technology, throw imagination into the mix and watch the playing field level out in designing stories at all grade levels.  Learn how to structure video production teams and use mobile devices to create green screen, stop motion, and Adobe Spark digital stories.  You will be inspired to create learning opportunities that are engaging and showcase student’s gifts and talents through digital storytelling.
Jeffrey Powell Closing Keynote / 3:00 – 3:45 PM College Reimagined Northeast Mississippi Community College (NEMCC) became one of the first community colleges in the nation to become an iPad 1:1 campus.  In doing so they began to reimagine and redefine how learning is done on a college campus.   In doing so NEMCC has saved it’s students over 5 Million dollars and increased student and college success.
