1. When are new courses announced?

   The OLLI Course Catalog is published quarterly and is typically released about one month before the start of each new quarter. New classes are also added throughout the term, so we encourage members to check the website for regularly for the most up-to-date course offerings. Because many classes fill quickly, we recommend registering as early as possible.

2. How do I purchase an OLLI at KSU membership?

   • When you add a class to your cart, the registration system will automatically check for an active OLLI membership.
   • If you do not currently have a membership, a prompt will appear during checkout giving you the option to register for either an OLLI Basic or OLLI Plus membership.
   • Simply select the membership option you would like to purchase and continue through the checkout process. Your membership will be added to your cart along with your class registration.
   • Please note: An active OLLI membership is required before you can complete registration for classes, trips, clubs, and other OLLI activities.
   • If you already have an active membership, the checkout process will continue directly to payment, and no membership prompt will appear.

3. How do I enroll in a course?

   You can enroll online through the OLLI website by selecting the course you are interested in and completing the registration process on our registration portal. Or by calling the Enrollment office at 470-578-6765, option 1.

4. Do I need to be an OLLI member to take courses?

   Yes. All courses and activities are available exclusively to OLLI members. Membership helps support the program and provides access to courses, lectures, events, and other community opportunities throughout the year.

5. Where are OLLI classes held?

   OLLI courses are held in various classrooms across the KSU Center at 3333 Busbee Dr NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

6. What if I need help enrolling in a course?

   If you experience any issues with registration, the Enrollment office is happy to assist you. Please contact the Enrollment office at 470-578-6765, option 1 for help with enrollment or account questions.

7. How long do OLLI courses typically last?

   Course length varies, but many OLLI classes meet weekly for several sessions during a term. Individual course listings include the schedule and number of sessions.

8. Can I suggest a course topic?

   Yes. OLLI welcomes ideas from members. If there is a topic you would enjoy exploring, you are encouraged to share suggestions with the OLLI team.

9. How can I give back to OLLI?

   Members support OLLI in many ways, including volunteering, serving on committees, recommending instructors, or making donations that help expand programming and scholarships.

10. Who teaches OLLI courses?

    Courses are taught by experienced instructors including university faculty, industry professionals, and subject-matter experts who enjoy sharing their knowledge with engaged learners.

11. How can I stay informed about upcoming courses and events?

    The best way to stay informed is to regularly check the OLLI website. Watch for announcements sent through email and subscribe to the OLLI Course catalog.

12. OLLI Course Refund Policy

    • 100% refund for withdrawals made three or more business days (Monday–Friday) before the first day of class.
    • 80% refund for withdrawals made one or two business days (Monday–Friday) before the first day of class.
    • 0% refund for withdrawals made on or after the first day of class.

    Refund timing: If you pay by cash or check, refunds are processed in 2–4 weeks and issued by Business Services. If you pay by credit card, your account will be credited.

13. Transfers

    • Transfers made three or more business days (Monday–Friday) before the first day of class are not assessed a penalty. *
    • Transfers made one or two business days (Monday–Friday) before the first day of class are assessed a 20% penalty. *
    • No transfers will be made once a class has started.

    *No transfers will be made for registrations using a discount.

14. OLLI Day Trip Refund Policy

    Refunds for OLLI day trips will not be issued within 14 business days of the trip date. Because tickets, transportation, and reservations are prepaid in advance, all cancellations made fewer than 14 days business days before the trip are non-refundable unless OLLI can fill your spot from the waitlist. If OLLI cancels a trip, participants will receive a full refund.

15. Membership Fee Refund Policy

    Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
