OLLI at Kennesaw State University is introducing two membership options designed to keep you engaged in classes, events, and the OLLI community all year long.
How to Become a Member
When you add a class to your cart, the registration system will automatically check for an active OLLI membership.
If you do not currently have a membership, a prompt will appear during checkout giving you the option to register for either an OLLI Basic or OLLI Plus membership.
Simply select the membership option you would like to purchase and continue through the checkout process. Your membership will be added to your cart along with your class registration.
Please note: An active OLLI membership is required before you can complete registration for classes, trips, clubs, and other OLLI activities.
If you already have an active membership, the checkout process will continue directly to payment, and no membership prompt will appear.

OLLI Basic Membership
Designed for members who want to stay engaged, register for classes, and participate in the OLLI community throughout the year.
Includes:
- Eligibility to register for OLLI classes and programs
- Access to Special Interest Groups
- Access to the Osher Online network of classes (Beginning Fall 2026)
- Invitations to OLLI events, social gatherings, and lectures
- Access to Quarterly OLLI newsletters
OLLI Plus Membership
Includes everything in Basic, plus added perks for members who want an even more connected community experience and who enjoy spending extra time with the OLLI community before and after classes. This tier allows OLLI to feel like your home away from home.
Everything in Basic, plus:
- Full clubroom access
- 10% off OLLI classes
- Free coffee, tea, and water
- Free computer and printer access
- Scheduled Bridge games
- Scheduled Mah Jongg games

Why This Change?
A structure that supports OLLI now and in the future
- OLLI at Kennesaw State University is the only OLLI program in the national Osher network without a membership structure. Moving in this direction brings us in line with other OLLI programs across the U.S. and helps us continue offering high quality classes, instructors, and programming in a sustainable way.
- As a self-sustaining program, it is important that we have a structure in place that helps ensure we can continue offering high quality classes, events, and experiences for our community for years to come.
Important Information
Upgrades
Upgrading from Basic to Membership Plus
Members can upgrade to OLLI Plus at any time by paying the OLLI Plus membership fee. When a membership is upgraded, the membership renews for a full year from the date of the upgrade.
Example: If a member purchases OLLI Basic in July 2026 and upgrades in September 2026, the new OLLI Plus membership would expire in September 2027.

OLLI at KSU is moving to a membership structure to align with other programs in the national OLLI network and to support long-term sustainability for classes, instructors, events, and community programming.

Class fees support individual courses and instructor-related costs. Membership supports the larger OLLI community and the infrastructure that makes those classes possible, including technology and systems, marketing and communication, growth and sustainability, and community events.

No. The OLLI Plus Membership 10% discount applies to OLLI at KSU courses only. The discount does not apply to Osher Online courses, travel, socials, or day trips.
