    IEP CostsBelow you will find estimated costs for students participating in an eight-week session with Kennesaw State University’s Intensive English Program.

    Note that these costs are only estimates, and that tuition and fees are subject to change.

    However, the material on this page provides a general idea of the costs associated with KSU’s IEP.

    We have separated the charges incurred by full-time students versus part-time students.

      Estimate for living and food expenses for F-1 visa students
    • Health Insurance
      $225 for each 8-week session
      Estimated cost for F-1 student health insurance. All F-1 students must have health insurance. Student may select United Healthcare’s PGH insurance through KSU or apply for a waiver to use their own policy.
    • Parking Fee
      $46
      Required for all those parking a car on campus (per session)
    • Friday Elective Class Tuition
      $200

      Pronunciation: 6 Fridays per session, 12 hours of instruction

    Refund Policy

    Current IEP policy is that students may receive a 100% refund of tuition and fees before the start of classes, or a 75% refund of tuition and fees during the first and second weeks of classes.

    No refunds will be given after the second week of classes. If an F-1 visa student drops any courses, they are required to leave the country. No refund will be given for application fees.
