Mary Goscha
After traveling to Asia often and seeing many men sitting on small barrels throwing tiles around, Martina was curious. She grew up playing games with her family and friends, so she investigated. It was Mah Jongg! Mah Jongg is played all over Asia. Everyone plays. The Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, etc. when she finally learned to play, she wanted everyone to play! Martina started teaching at Kennesaw in 1994. I had a career with Delta Air Lines and have traveled to just about every country in the world. Since retiring in 1999, I have been very active in the community with Leadership Cobb and Honorary Commanders. I have served on The boards of the Cobb/Douglas Red Cross, the Department of Family and Children’s Services, and recently 5 years on the Library Foundation. I have 2 Chinese crested powder puffs.(dogs) I am a lifetime Master Gardener. I attend Transfiguration Catholic Church where I serve as a Lecture and a Euchristic minister. I have a wonderful life and of course Mah Jongg is part of it! I try to play at least twice a week! If you want a challenge, come learn to play!
