Al and Chet OLLI Scholarship

A.L. Burruss served as President of Tip Top Poultry from 1954 until he passed away in 1986. Mr. Chet Austin, his lifelong best friend, joined him in the business as CEO until his retirement in 1999.

In March 2005, Chet Austin established the Al and Chet Education Fund with a generous contribution to support the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at The Community and Professional Education at Kennesaw State University.

This scholarship is applicable to Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) courses, which are specifically
targeted to students age 50 and older. You can learn more about the OLLI program and the courses offered
by visiting our OLLI website.

To allow our scholarship funds to go further and support more applicants, partial (50%) scholarships will now be awarded. This change will allow us to give more students the chance to benefit.
