This course covers selected components from Chapters 9-12 of Spanish Is Fun, Lively Lessons for Beginners, Book 1. Students will examine the names of various professions and practice expressing one’s and others’ professions. Students will then study how to describe location and temporary conditions of people and things versus permanent traits of people and things. Students will study how to express dates, months of the year, and celebrations and events that take place during specific months.
Nancy DeLisle-Brown
With the College since 2007, Nancy has her Masters in Spanish and a TESOL Certificate. Nancy has been instrumental in shaping the courses in ESL for us. She was justly-awarded Outstanding Educator of the Year by the GAEA in 2015. Nancy teaches Spanish in our OLLI program to seniors.
