About this course
Gain proficiency in the most influential platforms—Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest. You’ll learn to navigate the unique features of each to determine the most effective channels for your brand’s objectives. The course also covers crucial strategies in measuring engagement metrics, understanding the legal aspects of social media, optimizing for search engines (SEO), and leveraging crowdsourcing.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Summarize the history of Social Media and distinguish the functionality differences of various platforms
- Manage Social Media within recommended guidelines and Copyright/Trademark regulations
- Use Social Media through Content Management
- Use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Collaborative Marketing to effectively market through Social Media
- Utilize metrics for measuring Social Media marketing success and analytics.
- Master basics of content creation and management for blogs, podcasts, and posts for Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest.
- Measuring metrics, legalities of social media, and crowdsourcing
Prerequisites: Proficiency in basic computer skills and internet access are essential. Students must have access to a laptop or desktop computer and the internet.
