Director, Intensive English Program

Nicholas Taggart is the Director of the Kennesaw State University Intensive English Program. He holds a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics/TESL/TEFL and has been in the field of TESL/TEFL for over twenty years as an educator and administrator.

His experience includes teaching, program development and administration, curriculum design, development, and implementation, teacher training, and program accreditation. He has taught both English as a second language in the U.S. and English as a foreign language in Korea and Oman.

Additionally, his work and career have provided opportunities to attend and present at international and regional conferences in the USA, Canada, and Morocco. Nicholas’ areas of interest include ESL vocabulary and grammar instruction, applied pragmatics, semantics, morphology, socio-linguistics, and program administration.
