How to Get Started with KSU CPE
Professional Certificates
Career-focused, non-credit certificates and workforce development for adult learners.

Register and begin. Complete registration online and get ready for your first class, in-person or online.
Intensive English Program (IEP)
Academic English preparation for international students seeking university admission or language proficiency.

Submit your application. Complete the IEP Application and Policy Agreement Form. Students under 18 must also submit a parent/guardian waiver.

Take the placement exam. New students complete a placement test, writing sample, and oral interview to determine their starting level.

Secure your visa (if applicable). F-1 visa students will receive an I-20 from KSU. Part-time options are available for non-F-1 students.

Attend orientation and begin. All new students attend a mandatory orientation before their first 8-week session.
OLLI — Lifelong Learning (50+)
College-level courses, social events, and enrichment programs for adults 50 and older.

Browse the current catalog. Explore courses in art, language, history, technology, fitness, finance, and more.

Pick up an OLLI membership. An annual membership unlocks access to all OLLI courses and special events for 12 months.

Register for your courses. Sign up online, call our enrollment team, or come by in person. New sessions start four times a year.

Show up and enjoy. No prerequisites, no grades — just curious people learning together at the KSU Center.
