This course cover Chapters 1-4 contained in Primera Parte (Part I) of the Textbook (see Required Textbook below). Chapter 1 will introduce students to greetings, exchanges, and farewell expressions. Students will also see words that are similar in English and Spanish. The lesson will transition into the introduction of Spanish words, their meanings, and masculine nouns vs. feminine nouns.  In Chapter 2, students will study family names and how to indicate relationships among their family and others’ families. Chapter 3 will take students to the school and classroom! Students will study the names of objects associated with school and the classroom and later identify those items existent within their own physical classroom.
