Academic English for university entrance, career development and enhancementcultural immersion, and a community ESL program all taught by expert Instructors on Kennesaw State University’s campus.

Core Curriculum

Course Content
Grammar Strengthens students' English grammar skills from the intermediate to advanced levels.
Reading Courses in reading advance from controlled texts to novels and academic literature. Intensive and Extensive reading courses offered at the advanced levels.
Writing Courses range from the basics of composition to university-level academic writing.
Vocabulary Expands students' understanding and use of English vocabulary and idioms in a variety of contexts.
Listening & Speaking Focuses on social and academic communication and comprehension.

Friday Electives

Pronunciation Teaches students the proper emphasis of words and syllables for effective communication. $200 $40 (estimate) Meets 2 hours a week on Friday morning for a total of 6 weeks This class is offered to students from all levels of study.
Conversation Encourages students of all levels to use their current level of English in a variety of conversational topics. $200 $0 (estimate) Meets 2 hours a week on Friday morning for a total of 6 weeks This class is offered to students from all levels of study.

Important Note: A minimum number of students will need to enroll in the elective listed above to offer that class. If the required number of students do not enroll, all course tuition will be refunded.
