DiscoverU at Kennesaw State University’s Community and Professional Education (KSU CPE) offers engaging camps for rising 9th–12th grade students who want to build skills or explore new interests alongside their peers. Whether students want to strengthen their résumés, explore future career paths, or take a break from summer boredom and screen time, DiscoverU encourages families to open the door to new possibilities for their high school students.
Our Instructors Make the Difference
KSU’s CPE has a long history of serving youth learners who are eager to grow and explore new opportunities. DiscoverU connects our passionate instructors with students who share similar interests, helping to foster meaningful connections and conversations about future goals. These discussions span a wide range of fields, including computer-aided design, healthcare, and culinary arts. Many DiscoverU instructors work in the industries they teach, offering real-world insights, and several also teach in our Community and Professional Education programs throughout the year.

CPE at KSU offers a wide range of professional and community programs that help learners pursue their goals for many reasons. These may include gaining an edge in the workplace, strengthening credentials, or exploring a new direction. DiscoverU, as part of CPE, helps students discover potential career paths, learn more about fields they are passionate about, and decide whether to continue their education in college or through alternative options such as professional certifications.
